HAIR STYLIST

Requirements: Massachusetts Cosmetology / Barber License
Responsibilities include:

  • Comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of all hair services, including Men and Women’s Haircuts, Coloring, Texture Services, and Styling.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service, while delivering professional and consistent quality of services to guests.
  • Eager to continuously learn, grow, and ask questions.
  • Be a contributing team member in a fast-paced environment.
  • Stay up to date with Aveda’s seasonal launches and collections.
  • Maintain a well-groomed look in line with Soma’s modern brand.
  • Participate in training, education and meetings as required.

 

 

SALON ASSISTANT

Responsibilities include:

  • A flexible schedule, which may include days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Provide support to all team members and maintaining client flow.
  • Greet guests in a professional manner.
  • Perform shampoos and blowdries on guests.
  • Maintain salon cleanliness at all times.
  • Contribute and manage inventory of supplies for salon.
  • Must have excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service, while delivering professional and consistent quality of services to guests.
  • Stay up to date with Aveda’s seasonal launches and collections.
  • Eager to continuously learn, grow, and ask questions.
  • Be a team member who can help in a fast-paced environment.
  • Is versatile with the changing needs of the salon.
  • Provides all guests with Aveda salon value added services.
  • Maintain a well-groomed look in line with Soma’s modern brand.
  • Participate in training, education and meetings as required.
